Helpers Need Healing Too…

You’re a passionate professional who has a calling for the work that you do, but after seeing back to back clients day in and day out, working with students all day, or treating patients every 15 minutes five days a week for years, you start to feel the effects of the secondary trauma, counter-transference, and burnout.

You still have that passion inside, but you find yourself having trouble getting motivated for your sessions, debating taking a mental health day more often than you used to, and feeling utterly exhausted by the end of the day. Finding harmony between your professional and personal life is a struggle, and you may be having difficulties shaking off the stress of the day.

As helping professionals, we are not immune to the impacts of trauma, anxiety, and stress; we need support too.

You give so much of yourself to those you help, but sometimes it can be hard to give back to yourself. You also deserve a space to be heard. I love working with other helping professionals in finding balance in life and in coping more effectively with the unique stressors of our work.

I provide a compassionate space for you to come as your authentic self, where you can be real and discuss the challenges that you may be encountering in your personal and professional life. EMDR can aid in processing through the secondary trauma that we so often experience. I’m here to hold space for you, because you deserve healing too.
